About

Welcome to my music blog.  In case you don’t know me, I have been writing for the past 20+ years.  I have loved music, books, film and theater all my life, and have grown to especially love works by independent artists.  I have dedicated my writing career to covering, promoting and supporting those artists and works.  I am always looking for new ideas to cover.  Currently, you will find articles on Women in Entertainment, Get it or Forget it reviews, Artists Worth Checking Out interviews, LA Music Critic Awards, Monday Mashup playlists and See it or Skip It theater reviews, as well as previews, backgrounds and profiles of indie artists and their works.

Great blog you have here but I was wanting to know if you knew of any message boards that cover the same topics discussed in this article? I’d really love to be a part of community where I can get feed-back from other knowledgeable individuals that share the same interest. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Many thanks!

Thank you so much for the great review on my new record “Backwoods Glance.” When I wrote the material I was really trying to evoke old time Music and your review confirmed my success. I appreciate your support of my music. James Byfield/Blind Lemon Pledge
