Ten amazing videos released in May 2018

Every Monday we bring you news from the indie arts world, as well as new singles and music videos.  Unfortunately, we receive so many requests that we are unable to accommodate everyone.  We decided to create a monthly listing of singles and music videos we thought were worthy but didn’t have space for in our weekly Monday Mashup.  Here is our list of videos for the month of May.

Our first video this month comes from Cardhouse.  It is a rare “live at home rehearsal” of his new single, “Unintentional.”  We like it and hope you will too.

Next up is “Better With You,” the latest from Jesse McCartney, who is prepping for his U.S. tour, in support of his first new music since 2014.  This one will make you happy.

Tesla guitarist Frank Hannon has released two amazing albums this year, covering his favorite songs and adding his own touch to them.  Here is his cover of Blackberry Smoke’s  “Sunrise in Texas.”

Next up is some hip-hop from Marty Grimes for his video for “Trouble,” filmed in Thailand.  Check out the beauty of the cinematography.

Our fifth video comes from Bastian Lee Jones, and is a beautiful vision of love.  Check out “Hold Me,” one of the finest instrumental videos we have seen this year.

Next we have some harder rock music in the form of Beta Camp‘s song, “Devil on my Shoulders.”  This one should get your heart beat racing.

Our seventh video is “War on the Radio” by Jeffrey Foucault.  This one is pure Southern rock, and the images are priceless.  Let us know what you think.

And now for something completely different.  Here’s the amazing Latin duo Cheo & Ulises Hadjis with the title cut from their new album, “Donde.”  Enjoy this cultural break.

Next up is “Mexico” from the amazing duo Jenesia.  This one is stunningly beautiful, and the song is great as well.  Get up and groove to this track.

Our final video for May is from Swedish band Tiny Fighter for their song, “Hollow Talk.”  Hope this will tide you over until we come back with more great indie singles and videos.

Ten amazing videos released in April 2018

Every Monday we bring you news from the indie arts world, as well as new singles and music videos.  Unfortunately, we receive so many requests that we are unable to accommodate everyone.  We decided to create a monthly listing of singles and music videos we thought were worthy but didn’t have space for in our Monday Mashup.  Here is our list of music videos for the month of April.

Our first video comes from Jake Austin Walker for his amazing Top 40-bound single “Rolling Stones.”  This one should get your weekend off to a great start.

Next up is Polychrome, with their video for “Final Kiss.”  We shared their latest single last month, and this one will truly get you dancing.

Our third video is from acclaimed LA/NY producer Sailor Beast. Even if we don’t particularly like the style of “My Favorite Ex,” we love the cinematography, which will amaze and delight.  Let us know what you think.

Next up is an animated video by Nir Yaniv for his debut song, “Memories of a Third Planet.”  This one is unique and the song will get your toes a tapping and your body dancing across the floor.

Our fifth April video comes from Jackie Venson.  We featured her single “Don’t Lie to Me” last month and this month we’re sharing the video for that song.

Our next video is for you rockers.  Here is Bashful Hips with “Host of a Ghost.”  This one is another animated one with a rocking beat.

Our seventh video is from Dom Fricot and it is not your typical music video.  It starts with beautiful cinematography from Nepal and a story featuring actors before launching into the amazing song “Echoes,” the style of which is very familiar to fans of Phil Collins.  Enjoy this treat.

Next up is “Big Mouth,” courtesy of Judas, which is a rocking tune with throbbing beats, and a compelling story about the hazards of drinking.  Please let us know how it affects you.

Video number nine comes from indie pop rocker Chay Snowdon for his song “Zenopia.”  Again the cinematography is amazing and the tune will get your heart rate up and climbing.  Brit rock is definitely still here.

Our final video from April gives us a band that is quickly becoming one of our favorites.  We have featured the music of Belle and the Beats on at least two previous occasions, and think you will love their latest video for “Deeper.”  This soulful ballad is the perfect closing to this edition of Ten Amazing Videos.  See you soon.

Ten amazing videos from March 2018

Every Monday we bring you news from the indie arts world, as well as new singles and music videos.  Unfortunately, we receive so many requests that we are unable to accommodate everyone.  We decided to create a monthly listing of singles and music videos we thought were worthy but didn’t have space for in our Monday Mashup.  Here is our list of music videos for the month of March.

First up is a delightful indie rock lyric video from Krantz for their single “Run Away.”  This one is guaranteed to get your blood pumping and get you moving.  Enjoy.

Our second featured video is from a group that we recently reviewed, and also featured in our Ten Great Singles from February 2018 article.  Here is their lyric video for “My Force” from Freedom Baby.

Next up is a very retro sounding video from Jessica Risker.  The song is quirky, as is the video, so enjoy this one for “Cut my Hair.”

Another artist we recently reviewed was Ghost & the City.  Their video for “Living Room” is visually stunning, while the song is an amazing creation, with horns to die for and vocals that create shivers down your spine.  Enjoy.

Number five for the month of March comes from Bonander, who encourage us to “Quit Everything and Become a Princess.”  The retro disco beat will definitely get your blood pumping.  Check out this fun video.

For our next video, we travel to Norway, where Gundelach and ARY have created this stunning visual for their song “Past the Building.”  We love the entire vibe of this one, and think it definitely has legs.

Our seventh video is from Common Deer, a mellow chill band that offers us “Glass (Redux).”  Put this one on to relax and feel the tensions just melt from your body.

Next is another chill video for “Tuesday” by Hurt Parade.  The cinematography is amazing, as is the song, which features the line “Anywhere I want to be, as long as you’re with me.”

Stephen Michael Murphy encourages us to “Take a Trip,” his homage to the State of Colorado after they voted to legalize marijuana.  It’s a rocking, southern blues masterpiece, and the lyric video is pretty cool as well.  Let us know what you think.

Last but not least for this month is from the amazing Grace Blue, who will wow you with her video for “Nowhere to Go.”  We think this is the perfect video to close out this edition of Ten Amazing Videos.  We’ll see you next month.

Ten amazing music videos released in February 2018

Last week we brought you 10 amazing singles from February 2018.  Today we flip it and bring you 10 great music videos from the same period.  Hope you like them.

Our first video is a live compilation from the recent tour of Soja.  Here is their hit song “Tried my Best.”  This should help get your week off to a great start.

Our next video is a cinematic masterpiece.  Oklou delivers a jewel with her single, “Friendless.”  This one deserves an Oscar.

Our third video comes from Canadian band Croatia.  It is a stirring video for their song “Make Circles.”  Please let us know what you think.  We love the 80’s vibe.

Next we move down under for Calais.  This upbeat pop/rock song will get you up and moving.  Check out “Say to Me.”

Our fifth video today is a flat-out rocker from from Trubdr. Adam Road for their single, “Ain’t no Love.”  We really love the driving beat, the distorted voice, and the stunning images.  What do you think?

We start our second five with Super Hi-Fi, a band we reviewed last week.  Here is their animated video for “Little Black Book.”

Next up is the latest from Canadian Danielle Duval.  We simply love “Whenever You Want,” and think it would be a smash hit on American radio.  Let us know what you think.

Our eighth video comes from another Canadian artist, Kira May.  Here is her single “Muscle Memory.”

Video number nine is from Abbey Baker for her song, “Tell me How.”  We like the slow, smooth groove and the silky tone of her voice.

Last but not least is the French phenom 10LEC6, with an amazing and unforgetable tune called “Quakerz.”  This one should keep you going throughout the week and prepare you for this weekend.
